The General Manger leads a team of exempt and non-exempt teammates and influences the entire facility operations team to do the fast-paced work required to run a reverse logistics facility (including return to vendor, liquidation, fulfillment, testing, and repair) center as efficiently, safely and productively as possible. This role will handle management responsibilities for the team members under his/her supervision and is responsible for ensuring prompt, efficient and accurate handling of returns merchandise as well as developing and implementing team goals. This role is responsible for hiring, evaluation, development, discipline, and termination of hourly teammates. The General Manager is responsible for managing a facility operations center consisting of 200+ or more teammates and be held accountable for all aspects of an automated reverse logistics facility operation focusing on product disposition in a return to vendor & liquidation environment.
The General Manager is responsible for subordinate’s performance and execution of all operations functions at the facility, including: (1) Develop and execute daily and weekly operational plans; (2) Meet or exceed customer service level expectations while achieving maximum operating efficiency (3) Maximize quality, throughput, and productivity of the facility; (4) Manage a diverse teammate population; (5) Nurture a positive teammate relations, focused, safe and productive work environment; (6) Ensure all corporate policies and procedures are adhered to and short and long term plans are implemented.
