Review, revise, devise procedures to inspect, report, correct and implement a complete quality program.
Monitor all operations that can affect quality throughout the process flow from product(s) arriving and processed through our system, as well as data collections, and reconciliation documentation.
Guide facility managers, inspectors, technicians, and others through the quality process, giving them the knowledge, they need to satisfy our internal, external and 3rd party customers.
Assure the reliability and consistency of our production by checking processes through to the final output.
Report all issues to the necessary managers and ensure immediate action is taking place.
Guide and be hands on with proactive solutions by analyzing data, creating usable and to the point reports.
Continue to review our current standards and policies making suggestions for changes as needed.
Assist in the development of quality reports, and relevant documentation while keeping the lines of communication open with our document control, inventory control, and other departments that can affect the process stream, up to and including final customer reconciliation.
Ensure all Legal requirements are met, and that the quality certifications are maintained.
Communicate as required with external quality auditors and be part of the ISO 9000 implementation team.
Assist in the development of our SOP pertaining to quality, create forms documents and manuals as needed.
Proven experience as a quality manager
Knowledge of all quality standards such as 8D’s, corrective action implementation, risk assessments
Understanding of general quality data collection
Previously worked at an operation where ISO 9000 series of accreditation was implemented
Excellent organization skills and results driven
Great knowledge of MS office
Knowledge of (R1) an asset
The ability to analyze statistical quality data from our customer(s)
