The corporate human resources recruiter is responsible for delivering full-cycle recruiting from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great talent. Collaborate with all levels of management to identify future hiring needs. Assist potential candidates with understanding the organization and positions for which they’ve applied. Attract candidates using multiple sources and ensuring the company retains the best teammates, while growing a strong talent pipeline.
Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions: Develop and track measurable facets of the recruiting and hiring process so that the processes are transparent and measurable. Set continuous improvement goals. Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence. • Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants. Prepare or maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software. Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork. Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, or promotion opportunities. Select qualified job applicants or refer them to managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate.
Effectively communicate across all levels and functions: Partner with hiring managers to develop and execute staffing needs Conduct reference or background checks on job applicants. Perform searches for qualified job candidates, using sources such as computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, media advertisements, job fairs, recruiting firms, or employee referrals. Contact job applicants to inform them of the status of their applications. Interview job applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, or job skills. Develop or implement recruiting strategies to meet current or anticipated staffing needs. Review and evaluate applicant qualifications or eligibility for specified licensing, according to established guidelines and designated licensing codes.Must travel at least 75%
Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in human resources, business, communications or a related discipline. Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, negotiation, and Applicant Tracking Systems. Two to three years of experience in recruitment for exempt and non-exempt positions. PHR certification and / or SHRM CP Certification a plus Updated knowledge of laws, practices and compliance requirements. Ability to write well and effectively convey points of view, opinions, ideas and reasoning for decisions. Proficient use of MS Office Suite Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems
